gemma, do you use the slang language in real life that you use here in your blog? I'm just curious because my husband and I sometimes use slang terms in the bedroom but not in our daily life, including any anonymous communication. I'm NOT criticizing you - I'm just curious.

I use explicit sexual language when alone with my dh and also on the internet, when it's permitted. Otherwise I don't use it but I do realize that some folks don't use it even when communicating with others on the internet. That's not a problem for me.

I hope you don't mind one more question....what motivates you to use strong language in your blog?

It sounds like you are motivated to use strong language, primarily, for non-Christian married readers.

It sounds like explicit words just come natural to you as you type. Is that correct?

The book Anatomy of a Secret Life by Dr. Gail Saltz prompts me to ask.

Thanks for answering.

I suppose you could say that I primarily use explicit language for non-Christian readers. However, I am comfortable using the words here and my Christian readers seem to be comfortable reading them so it's really a non-issue.

Truly, many Christians might peek in here and as soon as they see the language, they'll take off running; that's their choice. I'd hate to see them leave without taking a moment to see what my blog is all about but I'm not here as a Christian site, per se.

Does that make sense?

:::Gemma I just dropped by from TMB.

Welcome, anon. I can call you "anon" here but if you'd rather be known by another name, just use your preferred name when you sign your comments. Just like I'll do here.
